At the Swedish Red Cross University, we strive to give both students and staff opportunities to develop new education perspectives and deepen their intercultural competence.

The Swedish Red Cross University has agreements with several European universities.

What we offer to incoming Erasmus+ students

The minimum stay for Erasmus+ studies is 60 days. The following is what we pffer (total: 19,5 ECTS):

  • 4 weeks of clinical placement primary health care
  • 4 weeks of clinical placement in nursing in emergency care
  • Global nursing, 5 weeks. We recommend this for incoming Erasmus students as it includes 2 weeks of field study (observational study) at a hospital.

This means that  we offer incoming Erasmus students a total of 10 weeks of clinical placement. Due to internal regulations, we are unfortunately not able to offer students clinical placements that are not part of the above mentioned courses.

The Swedish Red Cross University insurance coverage for incoming exchange students is limited to general liability insurance and accident insurance during study hours at the Swedish Red Cross University. The student must arrange for her/his own insurance coverage, including: health, accident (outside study hours) and housing. Erasmus students will be asked to show these insurance coverages before arrival to the Swedish Red Cross University.

We strive to collaborate with more universities around Europe. If you are interested in discussing the opportunities of a partnership, please contact the International coordination team.
