We at the the Swedish Red Cross University are happy to help you to a local emergency unit or an emergency clinic if you should get ill during your stay.

Local emergency units

The local emergency units are available for urgent, but non life-threatening medical treatment. For sudden, serious illnesses and injuries, you should turn to an emergency clinic at a hospital.

More information about the health care system can be found at the follwing guide:

Another option for seeking medical advice without having to visit a hospital or a clinic, is by calling 1177 where you can get advice from licensed nurses.

It doesn't replace the primary healthcare clinic where conventional healthcare is provided, but acts as a complement to it. The health centre is located at Berzelius väg 1, 5th floor on the Karolinska Institute campus Solna and Blickagången 7, 5th floor on Karolinska Institute campus Huddinge.
