This day is a reminder that everyone deserves to be loved and respected. Sadly, many members of the LGBTQ+ community are forced to leave their homes and seek refuge in other countries. When living in a host country, they can also encounter various challenges that threaten their psychosocial health and well-being. To address this issue, the research project A safer future focuses on how to adequately support their health and wellbeing.
The research team is excited to now start collaborating with migrants as a way to plan and develop an intervention. The planned intervention will provide psychosocial support. The intention is to create a supportive environment that addresses the specific needs of LGBTQ+ forced migrants.
The team is optimistic and cheerful about this project and is committed to making a positive impact on the lives of LGBTQ+ forced migrants.
Happy Valentine's Day to all, and let's continue to spread love and kindness! The researchers want to express their thanks and gratitude for those who are collaborating and contributing to our research.
